The front features a mixed media portrait of William Dorsey Swann—the first known person in America to lead a gay resistance group and call themself a “queen of drag”—set against shadow-puppeted stars and butterflies drifting like kites through the cosmic web of Ananse Ntentan. The back features a court jester’s riddle in hand lettering by PAAL WORLD.
